Access for everyone

Accessibility

We want patients, caregivers, and dental professionals to be able to use American Dentists regardless of ability, device, or input method.

Our approach

We design with semantic structure, keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts, reduced-motion preferences, and meaningful labels. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as an ongoing reference rather than treating accessibility as a one-time certification.

Known limitations

The site and its features will continue to evolve. Third-party websites linked from our directory may follow different accessibility practices, and we do not control those experiences.

Request help or report a barrier

Email accessibility@americandentists.com with the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or support that would help.

Do not include private health or payment information. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or service through an accessible alternative while we review the issue.

Continuous improvement

We review shared components and major user journeys as the product changes. Feedback from people using assistive technology is especially valuable and informs our priorities.
